□ Timing Chip Instructions

Your race time is measured using the Net-Time (Chip Time) system, which starts the moment you cross the start line. Upon receiving your race pack via courier, please immediately check if the timing chip is properly attached to the back of your bib number. If there are any issues, please contact the Secretariat immediately at 02-312-1998.

[Precautions for Using the Timing Chip]

Do not bend or detach the timing chip.

The bib with the chip must be worn correctly for your time to be recorded. (Please wear it on the outside front of your clothing so it is clearly visible.)

The chip is disposable and does not need to be returned.

※ Failure to wear the bib (chip) or missing any timing mats at the start, finish, or along the course will result in your time not being recorded and disqualification.

If you run with communication devices (like smartphones), keep them in a place that does not overlap with your bib.

Placing a smartphone directly behind your bib may cause signal interference, preventing your time from being recorded.

Smartwatches aligned directly with the chip at timing points may also cause interference.

Moisture (such as energy gels) can disrupt the signal.

Space/foil blankets block signals and may prevent your time from being recorded.

□ Disqualification

Once payment has been completed and participation has been confirmed, transfer of entry eligibility or proxy participation is strictly prohibited.

Any change of participant or proxy participation will result in disqualification, and no official race certificate will be issued.

In addition, any participant who fails to wear the official bib number, alters or arbitrarily modifies the bib, runs using another person’s timing chip, or engages in any fraudulent act that interferes with or compromises the accurate measurement and verification of race records, as well as any participant involved in such misconduct, will have their race record invalidated. Such participants may also be stopped by event officials and prohibited from participating in SEOUL RACE events for the following five (5) years.

Participants must start in the designated starting group corresponding to their recorded performance. Any participant who starts in a group ahead of their assigned group will be disqualified.
